IntelliDyne, LLC in Tysons Corner, VA is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team. The role reports to the Controller and supports day-to-day accounting operations in a hybrid setting (Tuesdays–Thursdays in office).

The team handles AP/AR, payroll support, audits and government contracting processes. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with 1 year of relevant experience and strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables) are required; Deltek Costpoint experience is

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct, relevant experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including lookups and pivot tables.
• Deltek Costpoint knowledge and experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.

Responsabilidades

• Review and maintain the AP inbox to ensure timely processing of invoices, purchase orders and expense reports.
• Enter cash receipts, monitor aging reports and assist with follow-up on outstanding balances with clients.
• Organize and maintain electronic accounting records by filing AP, AR, and supporting documentation.
• Review and process employee timesheets, generate reports, assist with payroll processing and corrections.
• Perform reconciliations of reports including credit cards and subcontractor reports; resolve discrepancies.
• Support ad hoc tasks like updating Excel schedules, saving bank statements, booking travel, and system set-ups in Deltek Costpoint.
• Assist with audits, property tax filings, and other compliance requests.
• Support the Controller with financial deliverables and DCAA reporting.
• Participate in training to enhance understanding of accounting principles and government contracting.
