Zusammenfassung

Clark Nuber PS is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the firm’s internal accounting operations, collaborating with the Controller and accounting team to ensure timely financial reporting. You’ll handle reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, payroll support, tax filings, and AP oversight across multiple areas of the function.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger accounting and payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience in a professional services environment preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check, including a credit check, as a condition of employment.

Aufgaben

• Support monthly and annual financial statement preparation through data analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Record and reconcile bank transactions, investigate discrepancies, and prepare adjusting entries.
• Prepare and file state and local tax returns (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Maintain general ledger accuracy with timely reconciliations and proper accrual accounting.
• Provide payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable backup as needed.
