Job summary

Clark Davis Associates is seeking a finance professional for a hybrid role in New Jersey. The position involves preparing financial reports, statements and bank reconciliations, and reports to the Controller while collaborating with Finance leadership.

Responsibilities include month-end close, GL analysis, SOX controls, reconciliations, budgeting, and annual reviews. Strong Excel skills and interpersonal business acumen are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Strong with Excel; Macros preferred.

Responsibilities

• Month end close completion.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform all general ledger accounting functions and analysis.
• Assist with SOX internal control process.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
• Ensure accuracy of banking activities.
• Monitor customer accounts credit limits.
• Daily review of sales orders.
• Analyze and adjust inventory and receivables provisions and accruals (Tax and Audit).
• Reconcile Intercompany accounts.
• Responsible for inventory transactions, invoices and cycle counts.
• Preparation of monthly reporting packages for presentation to Executives.
• Annual budget and budget reviews.
