Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience at a Public Accounting Firm.
• General Ledger Experience (Month-End Close, Account Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, General Accounting, Audit Support, Process Improvement, Prepaids, Accruals, Debits and Credits)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform work in a self-directed manner
• Must be able to work and communicate well within all levels of the organization
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and flexibility to change is essential

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries across various accounting areas in support of the monthly close process
• Perform and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of reconciling items
• Support a fast-paced close process, including variance analysis and flux explanations
• Maintain ownership of assigned areas of the general ledger, ensuring accounting is in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, including close optimization, automation opportunities, and standardization
• Maintain and enhance documentation of accounting processes and procedures
• Serve as a control owner for key SOX controls
• Support internal and external audit requests, including testing and documentation preparation
• Partner with cross-functional teams across finance, operations, and other business functions
