Job summary
CVS Health in Woonsocket, RI (hybrid) is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to bolster reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed store technologies across pharmacy platforms, POS, and store networks. You will lead observability enhancements, incident response, and DevOps practices to shorten lead times for core initiatives.
This role requires strong experience with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines, plus hands-on work with Splunk,
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps roles with strong observability focus.
- Proven experience delivering software in large-scale environments with multi-region/multi-cloud.
- 2+ years of AI/AIOps and Java/Python experience.
- 2+ years of cloud tech, microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).
- Experience with Git-based CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
Responsibilities
- Architect and improve observability, monitoring, and alerting across retail platforms.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability reviews.
- Champion cloud-native microservices and CI/CD automation.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and operations to improve resilience.
