Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Chicago/Peoria seeks an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Application Support to triage, investigate, and resolve critical tickets, ensuring application availability and performance against SLAs.

The role blends hands-on support with automation, scripting, and monitoring; includes occasional off-shift and weekend coverage, working in a hybrid environment with 2 onsite days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of comparable experience without a degree with certs.
• Experience in Application Support for cloud-based apps and SRE.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve tickets per SLAs.
• Investigate application failures and perform statistical analysis.
• Develop automation scripts to detect and fix issues.
• Monitor availability and performance of critical applications.
• Proactively document processes and follow up with requestors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners as needed.
• Perform weekend and off-shift coverage as required.
