Job summary

Froedtert Health in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Coordinator to ensure optimal reimbursement for high-cost meds and oversee the medication-use process in ambulatory areas such as infusion clinics and the cancer center.

The pharmacist will coordinate patient enrollment in assistance programs, secure medications from these programs if stock is unavailable, and uphold quality and safety standards in line with Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• Hospital or healthcare pharmacy experience required or preferred.
• Active PSW membership preferred.
• Active Wisconsin pharmacist license required or eligible.
• Pharmacy Practice residency or specialty residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal reimbursement for high-cost medications.
• Oversee medication-use process in ambulatory areas (infusion clinic, cancer center).
• Verify patient enrollment in patient assistance programs and obtain medications from programs if stock is unavailable.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and QA plans.
