Job summary

Vermeer is seeking a Sourcing Project Manager to partner with the supply chain and product development teams to ensure all supply-related work supports new product development timelines.

This role coordinates with sourcing and material management to source prototypes and long-lead items, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to project schedules and budgets. The position involves leading cross-functional activities and maintaining strong external and internal relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in sourcing, materials management or product development and PM experience.
• Strong project management with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and resources to meet milestones.

Responsibilities

• Work with product development and sourcing to define supplier requirements for new projects.
• Identify new suppliers, establish supply agreements, and source parts to align with project schedules.
• Escalate issues within sourcing, materials, or product development teams to support timelines.
• Hold teams and suppliers accountable to meet project milestones and budgets.
