Job summary

IANS is hiring a Solutions Engineer to own the technical side of our MCP connector across pre-sales and post-sales activities. The role requires a hybrid on-site presence in Boston and a passion for AI, demos, and onboarding clients.

Build deep technical fluency, run demos, and manage trials and POCs while collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering. This is a flexible, builder-type role with opportunities to grow as the function scales.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a technical, customer-facing role.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools day to day, including Claude.
• Basic working knowledge of APIs (REST, OAuth) and webhooks.
• Comfort in customer-facing conversations with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and rich runbook documentation.

Responsibilities

• Run technical discovery and build tailored demos for prospects with sales.
• Stand up and run trial/POC environments for use cases.
• Lead installation and onboarding for new clients and validate end-to-end integration.
• Coordinate with Engineering on fixes and handoffs to Senior Solutions Architect as needed.
• Monitor adoption and perform health checks ahead of renewals and QBRs.
