Job summary

Simply Solar is seeking a Project Coordinator in Petaluma, CA. You will drive solar and energy storage projects from start to finish, coordinating cross-functional teams and serving as the client’s main contact to ensure timely, accurate installations.

The role requires PV industry familiarity, strong communication, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for clients. This hybrid position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior industry experience required
• Energy storage system experience a plus
• General construction knowledge a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and single-line diagrams
• Strong technical aptitude and critical thinking
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and deadline discipline
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Proficient with MS Office and GSuite
• Willingness to learn additional industry knowledge
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, contractors and internal departments on project specifics and timelines
• Ensure projects are completed on time, to specs, and with accuracy
• Route client issues to appropriate teams and follow up for resolution
• Articulate technical concepts, product specs and design criteria to clients and stakeholders
• Coordinate with general contractors on build status and manage new home pipeline
• Document project details in project management software
• Track milestones and expedite projects per benchmarks
• Provide outstanding customer service and manage client expectations
