Job summary

Simply Solar Petaluma, California, United States is seeking a motivated Solar Operations and Maintenance Manager to lead the service department. You will coordinate field technicians, troubleshoot PV systems, oversee scheduling, and drive process improvements to deliver reliable, high-quality solar maintenance.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and requires solid PV system knowledge and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar industry and related maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with PV system design, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead and develop a maintenance team.
• Proven ability to manage service workflows and customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle of service requests from intake to follow-up.
• Oversee scheduling, dispatching, and field technician performance.
• Coordinate warranty repairs and field support with manufacturers.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure quality post-installation service.
• Train and supervise department staff and evaluate performance.
• Track client feedback and implement service improvements.
