Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in Allen, TX (Hybrid) is seeking a Software Test Engineer to verify VoIP software applications integrated with LMR systems. The ideal candidate will command Windows and Linux, virtualization, networking basics, and test automation.

Qualifications

5+ years of manual or automated software testing in Agile environments.
Experience in testing VoIP software with LMR integrations.
Ability to design and execute test plans and test cases.
Proven experience with test automation and debugging.
Familiarity with Windows Server environments and networking basics.

Responsibilities

Collaborate in an Agile setting to improve software quality across the development lifecycle.
Review design and functional requirements; develop and present comprehensive test plans.
Create and maintain precise test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Partner with developers during design phases to ensure testability of features.
Advance automation efforts and adopt emerging testing technologies.
Demonstrate strong independent work ethic, teamwork, and communication skills.
Identify automation gaps and develop test cases to close them.
