Overview

A client of Insight Global's is seeking an experienced System Test Engineer with a background in VoIP engineering to support a federal program in the Columbia, MD/Frederick, MD area. This role is supporting a large FAA program focused on modernizing voice communications within air traffic control. Responsibilities include:

• Deploying and testing IP based voice communication systems
• Support development plans according to program requirements
• Create and execute test cases
• Work with the design team to maintain verification requirements traceability matrix (VRTM)

Base pay range

$48.00/hr - $68.00/hr

Duration: 6-12 month contract to hire

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant
• 4+ years of Systems Test experience (executing test programs)
• Configuring and Analyzing VoIP networks
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Linux (Oracle), and VMs
