Job summary

Tandem Diabetes Care Europe B.V. is seeking a Software Test Engineer I to design and execute software tests, debug issues, and drive quality with cross-functional teams. You will create and review automated test scripts, integrate with CI, and help define test plans.

Hybrid work at Del Mar, CA with in-office days, and collaboration with R&D, Tech Support, and QA to ensure product readiness. The role requires experience with Scrum/Agile and familiarity with test frameworks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow procedures and flow diagrams.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Support interactions between team members and cross-functional teams.
• Schedule and coordinate project priorities and resources.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficient knowledge of at least one embedded or cloud-based programming language (JS, Python, C or C#).
• Familiar with CI systems.
• Familiar with test frameworks and automation tools (Selenium, Jasmine, Mocha, Appium).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute tests of software products per test plans.
• Debug issues and drive to closure with stakeholders.
• Own product initiatives and projects.
• Create documents capturing test operations and reports.
• Develop and review automated test scripts.
• Automate test plans and contribute to frameworks/tools.
• Coordinate with R&D, Tech Support and QA to align with specs.
• Record and compile data for test procedures and reports.
