Job summary

Tandem Diabetes Care seeks a Sr Software Test Engineer I to lead test projects, define schedules, and drive validation across software platforms. You will coordinate teams, review plans, and ensure quality across modules, with emphasis on CI systems and automated testing.

The role requires hands-on testing and collaboration with R&D, Technical Support and Quality Engineers to align with specifications and bring products to market.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of at least one embedded or cloud-based programming language, preferably JavaScript, C or C#.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and flow diagrams.
• Knowledge of automated insulin delivery algorithms is a plus.
• Experience with CI systems and improving build quality.

Responsibilities

• Defines and leads test projects by defining schedules, reviewing test plans, tools and test automation frameworks.
• Owns the team’s deliverables and coordinates activities across employees, ensuring test results meet specifications.
• Oversees documentation of test operations and reports results to software engineering.
• Performs and documents software test audits in compliance with test plan procedures.
