Job summary

+p+Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to join a collaborative team overseeing software quality across the product lifecycle. The role emphasizes testing, automation and collaboration with development, product and enterprise teams.

Qualifications

BA/BS in computer science or related field.
3 years of experience in software quality and testing for Software Quality Engineer II; 1 year of experience writing, running and automating tests; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

Participate on project scrum team and defect triage with agile practices.
Review user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, designs, code and tests for quality.
Develop, automate and execute unit, component and system tests; write automated and manual test cases.
Report test results, defects, verify fixes, assess impact of changes and update regression tests.
Ensure testability, coverage and maintainability meet requirements; mentor teammates on coverage and stability.
Define requirements and collaborate with Development to ensure testability, scalability, and reliability.
Lead process improvements and monitor testing progress using metrics.
Collaborate on integration and system-level tests; escalate issues when needed.
