Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Software Quality Engineer I–III for a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office across multiple U.S. locations including Medford.

You will work within the Software Quality Engineering team to prevent and detect defects throughout the lifecycle and enable delivery team productivity. The role spans junior to senior levels with expectations for strong programming and testing skills, collaboration across teams, and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in computer science or related field and relevant experience in one programming language (e.g., Java, Ruby, Python, or C#).
• BA/BS degree in computer science or related field and 3 years of software quality/testing experience plus 1 year of test automation; or equivalent education/experience.
• BA/BS degree in computer science or related field and 6 years of software quality/testing experience including 3 years of test automation; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project scrum team and defect triage team while managing personal work backlog using agile practices.
• Review user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, software designs, code and tests to ensure quality standards.
• Develop, automate and execute unit, component and system-level tests; write automated and manual test cases with peers for coverage.
• Report test results, submit defects, verify fixes, and assess impact of changes on tests.
• Ensure testability, coverage and maintainability meet project requirements; mentor team members to improve automated test stability.
