Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Software Quality Engineer I–III for a hybrid role with 3 days in office at Fargo, ND and other listed offices. You will ensure delivery of high-quality software, participate in agile teams, and automate tests across the product lifecycle.

The role spans entry to senior levels, requiring a BS in CS or related field and hands-on testing, automation, and collaboration across teams. Relocation or commutable distance is encouraged for multiple U.S. sites.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in computer science or related field.
• 3 years of software quality and testing for QE II; 6 years for QE III; 0+ years for QE I depending on level.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project scrum team and defect triage with agile practices.
• Review user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, designs, code and tests for quality.
• Develop, automate and execute unit, component and system tests; write automated and manual test cases.
• Report test results, defects, verify fixes and assess impact of changes.
• Ensure testability and coverage; mentor team on coverage and stability.
• Collaborate with development to define requirements ensuring testability and reliability.
• Use metrics to drive process effectiveness and lead process improvement.
