Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions in Boise, ID is hiring Software Quality Engineer I–III on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). You will contribute to software quality and testing across the lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Roles span from junior to senior levels, requiring a BA/BS in CS or related field and experience with automated testing, CI, and test design. Candidates must reside within commutable distance or relocate.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with software quality and testing across product development lifecycle (I/II/III level responsibilities).
• Proficiency with at least one programming language (Java, Ruby, Python or C#) and automated testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project scrum team and defect triage.
• Review user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, designs, code and tests for quality.
• Develop, automate and execute unit, component and system tests; write automated and manual test cases.
• Report defects, verify fixes and assess impact of changes to tests.
• Ensure testability and coverage; mentor peers on coverage and stability.
• Collaborate with development to define requirements ensuring testability and reliability.
• Use metrics to drive process effectiveness and monitor testing progress.
