Publix Super Markets, Inc. Technology department is seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer for the Vendor Portal and Asset Protection teams.

The role focuses on developing, delivering, and maintaining robust solutions that support external partners and internal associates across multiple systems. You will work in a hybrid model based in Lakeland, FL, with responsibilities spanning API development, data modeling with Databricks, and cloud-based services on Azure.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience with Full stack development using Angular, C#, and databases like SQL Server
• Databricks experience to clean, transform, and move raw data into organized models
• Strong API development/testing experience using Swagger and Postman
• Azure cloud platform experience including Azure/MS SQL Databases, App Services, Storage, and Key Vaults
• Troubleshooting experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Dynatrace, or Splunk
• Azure DevOps, Git, deployment pipelines, code repositories, and branching experience
• Experience with Agile Methodologies, SDLC, and distributed application systems

Responsabilidades

• Write or modify complex programs from technical designs, program specifications, and backlog items.
• Lead and coordinate technical design for complex solutions.
• Continuously improve vendor portal systems to enhance supplier experience and streamline purchasing.
• Define technical scope, estimates, and risks for development activities.
• Perform industry research and recommend enhancements to technology and infrastructure.
• Provide production support with rotating on-call schedule, ~4–5 weeks.
• Work with Azure DevOps pipelines and code repositories to deploy systems.
• Develop automation such as scripts, pipelines, and batch jobs to reduce manual tasks.
• Provide KPIs, metrics, status and reports to management and stakeholders.
• Operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced corporate environment.
