RVO Health is seeking a Software Engineer in Minneapolis, MN, operating in a hybrid model. You will design, build, and ship features for our widget platform and Healthgrades content experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You’ll work across frontend and backend, with React/TypeScript focus, write tests, and help modernize legacy code. The role emphasizes performance, reliability, and strong collaboration in a healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in software development for large-scale applications and web development.
• Full stack experience across front-end and back-end applications.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with React.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with automated testing (unit/integration).
• Experience using AI tools for code generation with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features across the widget platform and content systems.
• Collaborate with Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, and engineers to scope work and plan sprints.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Modernize legacy code toward a current React/TypeScript stack.
• Support production systems with on-call rotation and issue resolution.
• Improve test coverage with QA to enhance automated testing.
