Job summary

RVO Health, a healthcare technology company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable, user-facing applications in Denver with hybrid work options. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design robust solutions, write clean code, and mentor peers.

You’ll work across modern stacks including Next.js, React, TypeScript, Go, and Python, and leverage CI/CD, Kafka, and databases to deliver high-impact features for a broad user base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience focusing on user-facing applications.
• 3+ years of expert experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript; hands-on with Go and Python.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with software testing and using AI for code generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of software applications and systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather requirements and translate into technical designs.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, scalable code following best practices.
• Debug, analyze, and resolve complex defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct thorough code reviews to raise overall code quality.
• Continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategy.
