Job summary

RVO Health is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and ship features across our widget platform and content systems. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to plan sprints, code quality, and production support.

You’ll modernize legacy code toward a React/TypeScript stack, write tests, and participate in code reviews while embracing AI-assisted tooling to speed development. Hybrid work in Charlotte area with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of software development for large-scale web apps.
• Full stack experience across front-end and back-end.
• 1+ year hands-on React experience.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Familiar with AI-assisted code generation and judgment.
• Experience with testing and automated tests.
• Experience operating in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features on widget platform.
• Collaborate with PM, TPM, and engineers to plan sprints.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in reviews.
• Modernize legacy code to React/TypeScript.
• Debug and support production systems in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate on testing strategy and increase automation.
• Leverage AI tools to speed development.
