RVO Health is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Healthgrades development teams in Charlotte. You will design, build, and ship features across our widget platform and content systems, collaborating with product managers and engineers.

This role focuses on React/TypeScript stack, on-call production support, and delivering high-quality, well-tested code. We value collaboration, problem-solving, and the ability to work across front-end and back-end domains.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in software development with web apps.
• Full stack experience across front-end and back-end.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on React experience.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with AI-assisted code generation and judicious use.
• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features across widget platform and content systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to scope work and plan sprints.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Modernize legacy code toward a React/TypeScript stack.
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack and support production systems.
• Contribute to testing strategy and automate test coverage.
• Leverage AI tools to speed up development work.
• Support a healthy team culture with clear communication and shared ownership.
