Job summary

Sirona Medical, a San Francisco-based radiology software company, is hiring software engineers for a hybrid role based in Burlington, VT. You will collaborate with engineers, product designers, managers and researchers to extend RadOS—an AI-powered operating system for radiology workflows.

Responsibilities include building API-driven services, frontend and backend features, and robust testing. A CS degree and Python/JS experience are expected, with Git and REST API skills strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required.
• 1–3 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (React preferred).
• Experience with Python or Python-like languages (Python3 preferred).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web development; SQL/NoSQL databases ok.
• Strong problem-solving skills and Git for source control; AI-assisted tools a plus.
• Bonus: AWS, Django, Docker, Kubernetes and full-stack experience.

Responsibilities

• Create API solutions for internal and external web services.
• Develop frontend and backend features powering Sirona’s web applications.
• Build reliable services to transfer large data to clients.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend and QA engineers; participate in reviews.
• Contribute to testing practices to avoid regressions and fix production issues.
