Job summary

This hybrid role requires working from our Cincinnati, OH or Burlington, VT offices at least 3 days per week; the team leverages AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test creation and coverage.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
• Strong understanding of functional and exploratory testing.
• Experience developing or maintaining automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, pytest) and CI/CD integration.
• Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• Desire to learn new testing technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web apps and APIs.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to rapidly create and improve test coverage.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to clarify requirements and ensure coverage.
• Build and enhance automated testing frameworks for frontend and backend services.
• Execute automated test runs, analyze defects, and validate fixes.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve reliability.
• Participate in design reviews to improve testability and automation.
• Work with engineers to reduce manual testing and improve quality.
• Investigate production issues and develop automated regression tests.
• Evaluate emerging AI testing tools to boost productivity.
