Job summary

CDOT in Colorado seeks a Social Media & Graphic Design Specialist to manage CDOT’s social channels, craft engaging copy, produce graphics, and coordinate with subject-matter experts.

You will analyze metrics, develop content plans, supervise design projects, and ensure accessible, high-quality materials across print and digital deliverables. Occasional travel across the Denver metro area is required.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience focusing on communications, graphic design, journalism, marketing, and/or video design/production.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, content creation, and community engagement across CDOT’s social platforms.
• Develop, plan, execute, and manage content on CDOT’s social media channels.
• Write copy, create videos, and collaborate with team members to support the gathering and production of video and digital content.
• Coordinate with content contributors to ensure alignment with CDOT’s Social Media Strategy.
• Analyze performance metrics to increase channel visibility, drive audience interaction, and produce quarterly reports and monthly analytics.
• Design, develop, and produce graphic design and creative materials such as reports, brochures, banners, presentations, logos, and digital graphics.
• Assist with multimedia and video production projects as needed by gathering b-roll and photos and/or supporting onsite production set-up.
