Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill, Inc. in Vermont is seeking an experienced Site Development Project Manager to join our Civil team.

This role supports a broad range of site/civil engineering and land development projects for public and private clients, leading multi-disciplinary teams from concept through design, permitting, and construction support. The ideal candidate holds a PE license, has 8+ years of site design and project management experience, and excels at coordinating with municipalities, clients, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 8+ years of site/civil engineering experience with strong site design skills.
• Prior project management experience including contracts, QA/QC, scheduling, and staff oversight.
• Vermont Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with local and state permitting requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel to client sites and public meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Managing site/civil engineering projects from scoping through design, permitting, and construction support.
• Developing project scopes, contracts, schedules, and budgets.
• Overseeing and mentoring engineering staff and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Preparing and reviewing site designs including layout, grading, utilities, erosion/sediment control.
• Designing stormwater management systems and coordinating with municipal staff.
• Participating in field meetings, site visits, and permit applications.
• Supporting business development and maintaining client relationships.
