Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill in Rhode Island is seeking an experienced Site Development Project Manager to lead civil/site engineering projects from concept through permitting and construction support. You will oversee design, schedules, budgets, and mentor staff while coordinating with clients and authorities.

The role is hybrid, offering in-office collaboration with remote work options. Candidates should have strong PM experience, state permitting knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is preferred.
• 8+ years of site/civil engineering experience with strong site design.
• Experience with contracts, QA/QC, scheduling, and staff oversight.
• Rhode Island PE license preferred; local permitting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; travel required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; HydroCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage site/civil projects from scoping through design, permitting, and construction support.
• Develop project scopes, contracts, schedules and budgets.
• Mentor staff and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in land development and stormwater.
• Prepare and review site designs including layout, grading, utilities, erosion control.
• Coordinate with municipal staff and attend public meetings.
• Support business development and maintain client relationships.
