Job summary

Intel Corporation in Oregon seeks a Silicon/Electrical Validation Engineer to help validate next-generation CPU technologies. You will work across teams to develop validation strategies and debug issues from silicon development through manufacturing.

You will create validation content, automate tests in Python, and analyze results to drive improvements in performance and reliability across silicon, platform, and system levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 1+ years of experience.
• Experience in high speed analog and digital circuits of CPU IO and related platforms.
• Proficiency with Python or C/C++ and hardware lab test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute electrical validation plans for CPU I/O interfaces and related platform technologies.
• Create validation methodologies, test content, and automation solutions to evaluate electrical performance and functionality.
• Perform silicon and platform debugging to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Utilize lab equipment and measurement tools to characterize high-speed electrical interfaces and system behavior.
• Develop and maintain validation scripts and automation solutions using Python.
• Collaborate with hardware, BIOS, firmware, design, manufacturing, and validation teams to resolve technical issues.
• Analyze test results and provide data-driven recommendations to improve product quality and reliability.
• Assess electrical health across silicon, platform, and system-level implementations.
