Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a SoC power and performance validation engineer for a 3-year contract within the Data Center Group. You will develop validation plans, collaborate across architecture, design, firmware, and software teams, and drive optimization of power, thermal, and performance metrics.

You will configure data loggers, build validation infrastructure, and produce reports to share findings with collaborators while continuously improving validation approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in electrical or computer engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in SoC power and performance validation.
• 3+ years of experience in pre-Si simulation and emulation.
• 3+ years of experience developing and/or optimization of power/performance KPI’s.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SoC power, thermal, and performance validation plan.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and software teams to meet targets.
• Establish and implement methodologies for validating hardware/software optimizations.
• Perform SoC-level debugging for power, thermal, and performance issues.
• Configure and use data loggers for thermal data analysis.
• Develop and maintain validation infrastructure and monitors.
• Produce comprehensive validation reports and communicate findings.
• Drive continuous improvements to validation strategies and processes.
