Job summary

Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks a Sort/Test Quality & Reliability Engineer to lead quality readiness for tester hardware, test modules and processes, and to drive risk prevention across development and high-volume manufacturing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, define qualification strategies, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliant quality systems throughout the product lifecycle. This role supports a hybrid work model in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s/PhD in an engineering field.
• Experience in test process development, DFX, and qualification activities.
• Familiarity with HVM manufacturing and semiconductor test methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead test process definition, qualification, certification, and ramp across products and architectures.
• Define requirements, readiness criteria, acceptance plans, and mitigation for tester platforms.
• Own Installation Qualification, Module Operational Qualification, and measurement analysis.
• Ensure test processes meet quality, yield, and reliability objectives before transfer.
• Support technology transfer to factories and provide cross-functional support.
• Own Test Process Certification methods, specs, and release criteria.
• Establish and maintain FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and data integrity.
• Lead investigations using 8D, 5 Why, DOE; verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
