Hybrid work arrangement, 4 days in the office near Dearborn; salary range $40.00-$46.00 per hour, with benefits eligibility and tight program targets. This role emphasizes collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Lead component release for closures across the program life cycle.
• Ensure compliance with cost, weight, quality, performance and timing targets.
• Apply GPDS processes and robustness engineering disciplines.
• Develop Engineering Statement of Work and participate in sourcing.
• Engage with suppliers and review cost, tooling, and CPA.

Responsabilités

• Lead the component release for closures components through the program life cycle.
• Ensure compliance with program cost, weight, quality, performance, and timing targets.
• Apply GPDS processes and Robustness Engineering Disciplines.
• Develop Engineering Statement of Work and participate in the sourcing process.
• Engage with suppliers and review piece costs and tooling; conduct CPA.
• Participate in Technical Design Reviews with upper management.
• Release parts in FEDEBOM and WERS BOM systems.
• Support change control and update BOM for prototype builds.
• Identify tests required per validation plans.
• Provide technical solutions via AIMS and JIRA.
