Job summary

Amazon is seeking an International Logistics Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for international import/export activities. The role handles shipment coordination, documentation, tracking, data entry, and cross-team communication.

This support-focused position does not make independent trade decisions; escalation occurs for complex issues to designated owners, ensuring compliance and smooth movement of shipments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience.
• High school or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination of international import & export shipments.
• Enter and maintain shipment information in applicable logistics systems & tracking tools.
• Create or assist with shipping documentation based on established procedures.
• Monitor shipment statuses & provide updates to internal stakeholders.
• Follow up with carriers, freight forwarders, vendors, and suppliers regarding shipment statuses and required information.
• Assist with scheduling pickups, deliveries, and transportation activities.
• Support shipment exception management by identifying issues and escalating them to the appropriate owner.
• Collect required shipment information from internal teams, suppliers, and vendors.
• Assist with preparation & review of commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates, and other shipping documents.
• Verify documents are complete & consistent with the information provided.
