Planet's mission is to image the Earth daily and make it accessible. As Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, you will own the global hiring strategy and lead a distributed Talent Team, shaping the operating model that turns headcount plans into hiring outcomes.

You will partner with executives, manage external partners, and champion a best-in-class candidate experience while building an equitable, data-driven recruiting function across regions including outside the United States.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading talent acquisition at scale in high-growth firms.
• 8+ years of people leadership: recruiters, sourcers, coordinators, and managers.
• Proven ability to design a distributed, data-driven recruiting model.
• Experience hiring for technical and specialized roles across regions.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the global talent acquisition strategy and lead a distributed Talent Team.
• Own the recruiting operating model: capacity planning, forecasting, process design, and analytics.
• Partner with executives to translate headcount plans into hiring outcomes.
• Oversee TA operations, data quality, and standardized processes.
• Manage external staffing partners and extend reach into global markets.
• Champion an outstanding candidate experience and an inclusive hiring culture.
