Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Category Manager – Services to develop and execute enterprise category strategies that optimize value, manage risk, and drive growth through data-driven decision-making and strategic supplier partnerships.

The hybrid role reports to the NYC office and collaborates across Procurement COE, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes and continuous improvement in procurement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, or supplier management.
• Strong negotiation and contract lifecycle knowledge with supplier risk management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year category strategies for services aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFx development and contract awards.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance through data-driven scorecards.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure contracts enable measurable business outcomes and value creation.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
