Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) IT Division seeks a Server & Hosting Analyst I to support enterprise server, hosting, and virtualization environments. You will provide operational support, handle incidents, and assist with upgrades to ensure secure, highly available services including EHR systems and enterprise apps.

Qualifications

Knowledge of server operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux.
Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Understanding of enterprise infrastructure concepts including storage, backups, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, networking, and monitoring.
Familiarity with infrastructure security, patching, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

Support enterprise server, hosting, and virtualization environments across the Department.
Provide operational support, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementation assistance.
Collaborate with application teams, cybersecurity, networking, and stakeholders to maintain stable hosting services.
Participate in incident response, upgrades, patching, disaster recovery, and lifecycle management.
