Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Transportation Principal Project Manager in Louisiana to drive our Mobility team. This hybrid role blends remote work with in-office collaboration and involves delivering marquee transportation projects across diverse clients and funding sources.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, mentor staff, and expand Arcadis' footprint through collaboration with other offices while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of highway design or project management experience with LADOTD standards and procedures.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Louisiana Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage transportation design projects—from roundabouts and traffic signals to bridges, highways, and interchanges.
• Own the full client experience, engaging directly at every stage of project pursuit, development, and delivery.
• Guide all phases of complex projects, setting direction, ensuring alignment, and driving results across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor and empower project teams, ensuring assignments are completed with technical excellence and collaborative spirit.
• Develop project scopes and budgets, interface with clients, and build robust project plans and schedules that drive success.
• Expand your impact by supporting and leading initiatives with other Arcadis offices, sharing best practices, and growing your professional network.
• Demonstrate your communication and leadership strengths by confidently leading meetings, orchestrating resources, and delivering engaging presentations—cultivating meaningful relationships and earning the trust of both clients and colleagues.
