Job summary

HOK Philadelphia is seeking a Sr. Design Professional to join the Transportation practice, coordinating and delivering design development, production and delivery of transit projects as part of the project design team.

You will mentor junior staff, lead technical documentation, and collaborate with clients and consultants to translate design intent into high-quality construction documents while advancing sustainable design in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture is required.
• 6+ years of experience; or equivalent in education/experience.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
• Prior experience in large-scale transportation or infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocates for and upholds the design intent of stations, transit facilities, and urban infrastructure, ensuring translation into construction documentation.
• Analyzes and develops approaches to creation/modification of architectural documents.
• Develops, modifies, and/or reviews drawings according to standards.
• Develops presentations and 2D/3D drawings; builds models for review.
• Mentors and may lead a small team of junior technicians.
• Coordinates with clients/consultants/contractors and ensures QA/QC adherence.
• Applies Integrated Sustainable Design solutions and supports green workplace practices.
