Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a planner with real-world substation experience to design and sequence complex construction and maintenance activities. You will coordinate with leadership across Transmission, Distribution, and Generation and translate knowledge into safe, executable work plans.

The role requires a foundation in substation components, progress toward safe project execution, and a willingness to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating substation maintenance and construction.
• Hands-on experience working in or around electrical substations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and clearance documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and sequence complex construction and maintenance activities, including outage sequencing.
• Coordinate with Transmission, Distribution, and Generation leadership and resolve technical matters.
• Develop and define the project construction plan for area of expertise.
• Practice safe project planning and scheduling and communicate effectively.
• Lead teams, ensure documentation is accurate and submitted promptly.
