Job summary

Translation is seeking a Senior Strategy Director to lead brand, cultural, and creative strategy for key client accounts in a hybrid office setup (four days in office, one day remote).

You will distill complex business and cultural challenges into clear strategic directions, mentor junior strategists, and collaborate across Data Strategy, Context, Business, and Creative leadership to raise the discipline’s impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of strategy experience in branding or cultural strategy.
• Experience leading strategy for significant client accounts or campaigns.
• Ability to independently defend strategic recommendations with senior clients.
• Synthesize research, cultural intelligence, business context and audience insights into actionable strategy.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction across key client accounts with clear, culturally informed thinking.
• Identify real problems behind business and brand challenges and guide work.
• Lead development of brand, cultural, and creative strategy and translate insights into a clear point of view.
• Lead multiple engagements and prioritize what matters most while maintaining quality.
• Shape strategy for major briefs and opportunities and integrate disciplines accordingly.
• Partner with Data Strategy, Context, Business, and Creative leadership for an integrated vision.
• Develop and mentor strategists, guiding junior and mid-level talent.
• Raise the quality of the Strategy discipline with strong briefs, narratives, presentations and research.
• Contribute to Translation’s intellectual capital with new perspectives on audiences, culture, brands and business.
