Job summary

Instrument is seeking a Strategy Director to provide senior leadership across digital, brand, and marketing work for a leading technology client. You will oversee multiple workstreams, guide cross-disciplinary teams, and help shape both ongoing work and future opportunities.

This highly client-facing role requires quickly building trust and translating product, customer, brand, and business thinking into clear direction.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading strategy for complex, high-visibility client relationships.
• A robust UX and product strategy foundation, able to move between product experiences and brand/marketing work.
• Strong SaaS and/or B2B experience; enterprise platforms or technical products are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior strategy lead across digital product, brand, marketing, and experience work.
• Be a trusted, day-to-day partner to senior client stakeholders—leading conversations and framing decisions.
• Bring UX/product strategy rigor to translate insight into direction for design, creative, and delivery teams.
• Guide strategic work from discovery through recommendations, delivery, and iteration.
• Collaborate with design, technology, production, and account teams to ensure coherence across workstreams.
• Develop clear narratives, presentations, and decision frameworks for complex ideas.
• Support proposals and growth opportunities across the technology and commerce portfolio.
• Navigate fast-moving priorities while maintaining a high bar for strategic quality.
