• Ability to assess supplier capabilities, risks and dependencies.
• Ability to design and execute multi-year category strategies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence.
• Knowledge of total cost of ownership and value optimization concepts.
• Skill in aligning category strategies with broader business objectives.
• Skill in managing complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations.
• Specialized knowledge of complex or high-impact category environments.

Responsibilities

• Executes strategic plans to improve payment terms, delivery performance, cost efficiency and overall value.
• Analyzes agreements, market trends and supply-demand dynamics to inform planning.
• Leads competitive sourcing efforts, including RFPs and contract negotiations.
• Stays informed on market developments, partner capabilities and regulatory changes.
• Proposes strategic opportunities, long-term sustainability and risk mitigation.
• Ensures agreements are up-to-date and compliant across partners.
