Job summary

RVO Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced software systems. You will work with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions, while writing clean, efficient code and guiding junior engineers.

The role emphasizes staying current with technologies, improving processes, and delivering high-quality software in an in-office Denver setting with flexible remote options on certain days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years experience in software development, with a focus on large-scale applications.
• High proficiency in multiple programming languages (Go, PHP, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, Java, C#, C++, etc.).
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with software testing
• Experience using AI for code generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of software applications aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into robust designs.
• Write high-quality, scalable code adhering to best practices and standards.
• Debug and resolve complex defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure quality.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and perform code reviews.
• Improve development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to inform strategy and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and deliverables.
