Job summary

Shipt, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join the Network and Endpoint Security team. You will design and maintain secure endpoint and network architecture, and develop tools to automate detection, analysis and response across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will mentor teammates, participate in on‑call rotations, and help implement cybersecurity best practices while staying current with industry standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network or endpoint security architecture and administration.
• Hands-on with security tooling APIs and scripting languages.
• Experience with cloud architectures and compliance frameworks (NIST CSF, SOC2, HIPAA).
• Familiar with IaC and version control (Git/GitHub).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure endpoint and network architecture.
• Develop custom security tools to automate detection, analysis, and response.
• Support production security issue resolutions and contribute to best practices.
