Job summary

Eightelevengroup seeks a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer in Charlotte, NC for a hands-on, hybrid role. You will engineer, package, deploy, and manage endpoint security agents (CrowdStrike, Qualys) across Windows, Linux and Mac, while mentoring junior staff and developing automation.

Strong scripting and enterprise experience are required. You will collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure secure endpoint environments and contribute to deployment standards

Qualifications

• Strong experience engineering endpoint security across Windows and Linux.
• Hands-on deployment and packaging of security agents.
• Experience troubleshooting endpoint health and deployments.
• Experience with security agent deployment and endpoint management.
• Proficient scripting for automation (Bash/PowerShell).
• Ability to mentor engineers in large enterprise settings.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, package, and deploy endpoint security agents across Windows, Linux, and Mac environments.
• Support and maintain endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike and Qualys.
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint security, deployment, and agent health issues.
• Develop automation and scripting solutions to improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain deployment packages and SOPs for multiple OSes.
• Administer JAMF for Mac device management.
• Establish deployment standards and technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical work.
• Assist with incident response and remediation for endpoints.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure and operations teams.
