Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Distribution Programs team within NE Electric Project Management and Construction, for our Northborough, Worcester, Brockton, or North Andover Massachusetts locations. This is a hybrid role (50% in the office/field).

You will oversee planning, delivery, governance, and cost control of grid modernization programs including FLISR and Volt-Var Optimization, ensuring milestones are met and budgets are maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; other relevant fields considered with significant PM/engineering/construction experience.
• Experience in engineering, project management, utility construction, or equivalent.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, delivery, and governance of Grid Modernization projects (FLISR, VVO).
• Manage contracts, baselines, budgets, schedules, risks, and resources.
• Coordinate permitting with authorities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders; report regularly.
• Mentor junior Project Managers and promote best practices and development.
