Job summary

National Grid is hiring a Project Manager for our New England Distribution Line Project Management team. This hybrid role can be based out of Massachusetts locations and will lead a portfolio of electric distribution capital projects from planning through construction and closeout.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, using Primavera P6 and industry tools. Travel throughout the service territory is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently solve problems and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel throughout the service territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of capital projects from initiation through construction and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and provide monthly schedule updates.
• Identify project risks and issues early and work collaboratively to resolve them.
• Monitor, forecast, and report project budgets, financial performance, and milestones.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
• Support project closeout activities, including financial reconciliation and customer-related project requirements.
