Job summary

National Grid in Massachusetts is seeking a Project Manager for the Capital Project Delivery team. You will manage a portfolio of electric distribution capital projects from planning through closeout, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget.

Hybrid role based in Massachusetts (Northboro area) with travel across the service territory; a Bachelor's degree and PM experience are required, and Primavera P6 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and project management experience required.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel throughout the service territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of capital projects from initiation through construction and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and provide monthly schedule updates.
• Identify project risks and issues early and work collaboratively to resolve them.
• Monitor, forecast, and report project budgets, financial performance, and milestones.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
• Support project closeout activities, including financial reconciliation and customer-related project requirements.
