Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive complex initiatives within a finance-focused program. You will partner with the Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver across cross-functional teams, ensuring governance and strategic alignment.

This hybrid role requires in-office work four days per week in Milwaukee, WI or Charlotte, NC, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to sustain program momentum and risk management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience within asset management or financial services.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives within asset management or financial services.
• Experience working with Confluence and JIRA tools.
• Experience operating in regulated environments with strong governance and control expectations.
• Strong execution, organization, and communication skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work at a computer and use standard business software for extended periods during the workday.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and business partners in person and electronically as needed.
• Engage in regular in-person interaction and collaboration with team members and other stakeholders.
• Work effectively in a professional office environment with ongoing collaboration, activity, and shifting priorities.
• Maintain productivity and focus while balancing multiple tasks and interruptions common in an in-person business setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day execution of projects, including scope management, detailed planning, milestone tracking, and issue resolution.
• Drive delivery against agreed timelines while aligning with program-level objectives, governance, and dependencies.
• Coordinate across key stakeholders, including Investments, Operations, Distribution, Marketing, Product, Data Management, Technology, and external vendors.
• Proactively identify delivery dependencies across projects and coordinate with partner teams to maintain program momentum.
